An exquisite vintage Wedgwood Queen’s Ware salad/dessert plate (Pattern E5522), crafted in February 1947 at the historic Barlaston works in England.
This refined piece features a scalloped edge and a beautifully embossed lattice-style border. Every element—from the central botanical motif to the ornate border—is entirely hand-gilded, reflecting the meticulous craftsmanship that defined Wedgwood’s post-war era.
While the gently recessed centre identifies this as a shallow salad or dessert form—elegantly shaped for composed salads, fruit, or lighter courses, though not deep enough for soup.
