This handcrafted stoneware jug hails from the Westerwald region of Germany, where centuries-old pottery traditions continue to thrive. Featuring a salt-glazed grey body adorned with bold cobalt and earthy brown relief motifs, this signed piece offers both sculptural beauty and heritage craftsmanship.
Marked Handarbeit with the initials RZ (possibly) at the base, it reflects mid-20th century artisan production from the renowned Kannenbäckerland area. The interior is unglazed, making it best suited for decorative use.
